Towed by the 1913 W&B tunnel tug, Worcester it attended the Gloucester Docks 400 anniversary in about 1980. A memorable trip.

Would the same trip be practicable today, I wonder?

Hi the photos with Puppis painted in FMC colours were taken by me in about 92 at middlewich folk and boat festival, Puppis' colours amused a number of old working boatmen who saw her and as I understand it she was painted that way to look like a pair with England. Ike Argent did ask how many Woolwich joshers there were but he didnt get an answer.

I hope I’m not causing trouble by bumping an old thread but my family used to be volunteers at the boat museum and we helped crew Puppis on the trip to the Worcester event. Sadly I would only have been about 15 and I can remember hardly anything about it!
