Don't ask how, but after looking at the above post, I went and had a look and that eventually lead me to looking for Rubber Boots (Wellie's)

Now keep in mind I haven't owned a pair of Rubber Boots since I was about 6 years old. Earlier today I had been looking at different Freezers for the boat, need to confirm the measurements of the spot in the boat where I plan on putting the freezer and if it will fit, I've got the Freezer picked out. £300.00

So off I go to Google Wellie's....find 2 pair that I "like" (well as much as one can "like" rubber boats). £389.00 and £349.00??

I'm either going have cold/wet feet this winter; be walking around in something that looks more like an Army cadet would wear (No offense to any Army ppl. you don't have a choice what you wearcool.png ) or burying my frozen food in snow banks all the while convincing myself that the freezer money was well spent on a pair of trendy rubber boots!

OK - back to reality - I have found a pair for £39.00, but was Shocked to see the £389.00 price tag on the pair I really liked!!

Aldi have ski gloves on sale 5th December at £4.99 per pair. They look very similar to those that I bought some years ago. If so they are just as advertised. Warm and waterproof.

Excellent! Thank you for letting us know. I shall go and get some when the date comes.

Groupon are doing some cool looking ones wellies!

http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/special/gg-garden-xl-3/30450991

When I clicked on that link the page was immediately superimposed by a flyer encouraging me to subscribe to e-mail alerts of other offers. I couldn't see how to switch that off which was very annoying because I couldn't see what I wanted to look at

I hate this very inyerface advertising - In fact I find it counter productive. I don't know advertisers can't see this

Can anyone tell me how to turn that blasted flyer off?

When i click it i go straight to the wellie page with no pop ups.

Sometimes with groupon you get a subscribe banner come up, i think you can just press a cross in the corner??

Or just put your mail address in, you get mails every day from them, but you can easily block it if you dont want it..

Can't find a cross in any corner

I have adblock as an add on to my web browser too so it makes it even more annoying

I don't want to subscribe then cancel - that's me playing their game and I'm not going to do it

I've used sailing gloves for inland boating. Waterproof, some insulation and most importantly, don't rip to pieces the first time you use them to handle rope.

Being waterproof is something I found really important in the depths of winter when handling wet rope.
