Anyone out there able to help?

We recently purchased Narrow Boat called "The Stoker" which was built buy Stoke Boat Builders. On the day we left the marina where we purchased it,a person told us that he had read an article about the boat in a magazine. The boat was launched in May 1999, so would believe the article to be published after this date. Is there anyone out there who might at least know what copy this article appeared in . If they are still trading, you could ask "Stoke Boat Builders", as they'll surely be able to give you the information you want.

I've had a quick scan through the WW back numbers online is there is no mention of an article about The Stoker there. The listings go back to before 1999. Therefore most likely to be one of the other two waterway magazines published then.

After our boat was built, by Stoke on Trent, we were contacted by Canal & Riverboat magazine who wrote a feature on her so it may be worth looking for back numbers of that one.

The Stoker was shown at the Braunston show (the forerunner to the Crick show) in 1999. There was a five page write-up of the boat in the February 2000 Canal Boat Magazine, which I have just checked.
