A couple of videos from our weekends trip to West Stockwith

First up we have Naughty-Cal stemming the flow waiting to enter West Stockwith Lock. As you can see there is a fair old flow due to last weeks heavy rain. Part way through the video Liam lets off the throttle so you can see just how quick the flow takes the boat.

 

 

And next up there is entering West Stockwith Lock against that flow!!

I luvs going in there on a flow with loads of fresh, certainly beats entering any narrow lock I can think of. Rounding up on a narrowboat certainly gets the old adrenelin going to say the least. Have never done it on a boat saped boat though, it certainly looks easier than on a narrowboat
