First week out on Monty

We had an enjoyable week, as things came up we did not have the time to do Leicester, instead we turn on to the Coventry and cruised down that, it has beautiful scenery but is challenging in places we got lots of experience with stopping to let other boats through, we just waved them passed us as I am sure we were cruising slowly due to inexperience.

 

And we had a lovely day Sunday at Alvecote working boats show.

 

I have to say we only came across One boater who was arrogant and did not gave way to us at a bridge even though we had right of way and ended up in bushes and aground beside the bridge, and when said boater passed just laughed, but I suppose in all walks of life you have a??holes.

 

So as I said early thank you boaters.
