DIY Blacking

Can anybody recommend a dry dock which allows DIY blacking in the Stourbridge area?

Your post seems to imply that Stourbridge dry dock doesn't ?

 

Other than that, there's a dry dock at Stourport, phone Limekiln chandlers to enquire about that, or try Ashwood Marina for a crane-out, I'll PM a contact number.

 

Ashwood definitely allows DIY and I'm pretty sure Stourport do too.

Last year Stourbridge dry dock had DIY, have they stopped it?

Ashwood Marina Hire in a crane, normally on the first Monday of the month. So boats are craned out and spend a month on hard standing, giving lots of time for DIY blacking and time for the new hull coating to harden off. They also use the crane to get hull surveys carried out, crane the boat out, let the surveyor check the hull, then crane the boat back in about an hour later.
