Kennet And Avon

Hi All,

 

I believe there is a BW planned stoppage at Newbury on the Kennet and Avon in December finishing on the 16th. Is this correct and does anyone know of any other stoppages on this canal during this period?

 

As first timers the 5 hours is normally takes from Reading to Newbury will probably take us two days, but just in case we actually figure it out we better be prepared to make it further up the canal.

6 Nov 2006 - 3 Jan 2007 Restriction: Monkey Bridge/Northcroft Footbidge 63

Stoppage previously announced.

This stoppage will no longer be implemented. Work will be carried out at this location using a series of local restrictions which may cause delays of up to two hours, but these will be kept to a minimum. Advance notice of the restriction dates will be published.
