John's earthy account of his travels will lighten up anybody's day, not without the odd tear along the way though. We are only sad that we missed him en route through Audlem. From all accounts he's as good in person as he appears in text.

 

Surely now that he's completed this epic trip in what must be record time, he deserves some 'air time' on national tv?

I think Selby boat yard is his "finish post". I spoke to him the day before yesterday and he said he was about three days away so not long now!

It's been a while since John completed his phenomenal voyage around the canal system on that makeshift boat. What is he up to now and what was the final amount that he raised towards the MacMillan Trust?

Just giving this thread a kick as John Wonfor is off on his travels again on June 3 he is cycling round the UK on an orange bike,I think he is taking in some towpaths so keep an eye open for him.
