I think you might be right. They have just got stuck in Chamondeston lock so they'll not be going that way to the L&L.

I went past it earlier and it was tied up on lock landing, when I came back past 5 hrs later was slightly further back and grinder was out cutting rubbing strakes off.

Blimey!

Those are not particularly narrow locks are they?

Sounds like Equus must be seriously too wide?

Cholmondeston lock is quite "snug" but not really recordable as being overtight.

Looks wonderful she steers even better i will hopefully have an answer by tonight or tomorrow if my wife will let me get her fingers are all xed. Shame about the back cabin being bare as in nothing in it except a few wood boxes for seats.

I'm on tenterhooks, what did she say???

While we're waiting for Billybob, could you explain what a tenterhook is, please?

Many thanks...

Looks like a really nice boat smile.png

I guess considerable hull work may be required.

Its certainly been re footed and re bottomed at some stage in its life and has had a new counter added at Stockton 15 (?) years ago. Its built like a brick wotsit.

That's what you think

Seriously, I love wooden boats, and I'm not brave enough to take one on. You have my respect
