An advert clearly worded for the cheap house buyer and not anyone interested in either boats or waterways.

Yes, though that's what I'd expect from a company called "Riverhomes".

What an unsympathetic, soulless conversion.

Yes, internally a 'flat afloat', an estate agents dream floating home.

Compare with ELY: https://www.canalworld.net/forums/index.php?/topic/54625-historic-boats-for-sale-online/&do=findComment&comment=2616303

67ft tug based on Yarwoods large Northwich

Based on a Large Northwich

Cant seem to see many similarities!!

That passed me up near Henley the other day. I thought it was very displeasing to look at. That step in the side deck really doesn't do it any aesthetic favours !!

It just looks "wrong" to me anyway.

4L2 is nice but a bit big even for a heavy NB.

There's no washers on it so it can't be a copy!!

I don't like the offset cabin at the front either  and the step in the gunwhales - it all looks contrived.

OMG, yet another boat based on a large Northwich - not. These boats look as if they were built by people who had heard about these mythical craft but had not actually see one.

I have a 200 year old book about animals of the know world and it is obvious that the person illustrating the book has not seen some of the subjects in the flesh as it were.

I feel sorry for the people who really believe that they have paid out for an accurate replica of an historic hull shape.

The only thing that I can see that it has in common with a large Northwich is that it is built in steel and floats; are there any other points that I might have missed?
