That passed me up near Henley the other day. I thought it was very displeasing to look at. That step in the side deck really doesn't do it any aesthetic favours !! It just looks "wrong" to me anyway. 4L2 is nice but a bit big even for a heavy NB. Edited May 14, 2021 by magnetman

There's no washers on it so it can't be a copy!! I don't like the offset cabin at the front either and the step in the gunwhales - it all looks contrived. David Mack
Neither bow nor stern looks anything like a Northwich, and the step in the gunwale is a disaster! Sorry, but I won't be paying £125k (or anything at all really) for that!!

frangar
What’s the point of the offset cabin? It just looks like they ran out of steel!
Muddy Waters
OMG, yet another boat based on a large Northwich - not. These boats look as if they were built by people who had heard about these mythical craft but had not actually see one. I have a 200 year old book about animals of the know world and it is obvious that the person illustrating the book has not seen some of the subjects in the flesh as it were. I feel sorry for the people who really believe that they have paid out for an accurate replica of an historic hull shape. The only thing that I can see that it has in common with a large Northwich is that it is built in steel and floats; are there any other points that I might have missed?
