They didn't mail me, the bar stewards!

I'm gonna complain the GDPR....

Apparently if their records show you own more than 2 narrow boats already, they made the assumption you couldn't possibly want any more!

Curious thing about the Roach listing. It says Roach has a new bottom by Ian Kemp in 2017.

I was under the impression that Ian had sadly passed away a number of years ago. Is that wrong?

That isn't correct

Why did I click on the link in this post?! Reminding myself that as a single-hander it'd be a bit futile to have a butty...

When Peter Hawker operated Bletchley & Argus as fuel boats on the lower GU, he was regularly seen single-handing them!

Barry with Whitby & Pictor used to run single handed.

There is a (possibly apocryphal) story regarding a GRP cruiser tied up on the outside of a bend for lunch. The owners of which where afforded the rare opportunity to closely inspect the rivet pattern employed by H&W in the front end of the Small Woolwich.

More to the point, I'm not sure I could afford two boats.

I think there are very few who would want to commit to an unconverted butty at £29000, especially an unfinished project. I would be very interested in pursuing HYADES but not at anywhere near this price :captain:
