LPG Cooker piezo ignition

I've found a cooker I like for my boat, it comes with an lpg kit but it has a 240 plug for piezo ignition.

As I have a 12v supply near it I thought of fitting an inverter behind the cupboard near it and plugging the lead in. Would that work and what power inverter would I need? It would only be for the cooker.

My cooker has 240v for the piezo ignition. It's also has a fan that is used for the grill and oven. If it wasn't for those I'd just use a lighter. But makes sure of the boat safety needs. I think there must be a flame failure cut-off valve. Not sure about the whys and wherefores on that.

Yes,

BSS reguires Flame Failure Device (FFD) on all rings of a hob used on a boat, for any new fit appliance.

Not all have it, as houses still don't, but I understand increased requirements for them in flats and the like (I think), has made models with FFDs much more readily available.

As to ignition, I'm firmly of the hand held lighter persuasion - why make things complicated!

Assume the oven has no fan, but possibly a light? Very low power required for the ignition, it some other advice given here is probably worth considering. However if it has a light you would need to fit a small inverter as you suggest, otherwise how will you know when that fantastic chocolate Victoria Sandwich cake is cooked! ( I know, someone will say "torch"!)
