Viewing Emails

Featured Posts

Is there any way in which one can view or check an email sent to another member via the "email me" button on their profile page?

I sent an email to another member a few days and have not had a reply, and am now wondering if it was ever sent, it does not apperar on my Outlook Expess sent page. Yes I know they may be ignoring me but I would like to be able to check whether it was sent.

It won't appear in your Outlook Express Sent box because you didn't send it via such.

It should however appear in your personal Messenger/My Conversations on this forum though. I must admit to have only used the PM system but the page to send to a member via the Click here to send an email seems to be similar.

david and myself have run a test today, it appears nowhere in the cwdf pages, and by the sound of it, may disappear into junk......however, went into my inbox with no issues.

Interesting. I assume the junk email box referred to is the recipients & what arrives in it obviously depend on the rules his/her email client uses to determine junk.

I wasn't aware of a junk mailbox within your profile on this forum but there are by default, New, My Conversations & Drafts folders. All my PM sent or received, is in the My Conversations box which I access from the Messenger option in drop down list by my username, top right.

If I understand correctly, no record of a post sent directly to a members email address (as distinct from PM) is recorded on this forum site though.
