Yep, it was run by the Gardner Engine Club(?). It tends to meet where there are land and water facilities in close proximity because there are static exhibits, floating and land based stuff (I remember one that I attended on the steps at the river in Nottingham for example). I haven't been a member for a few years now since I sold Albion with her 4LK and. I'm not sure if it's still going as it was struggling a bit before I left. If it's any use for you I still have a very good contact in the Gardner engine world and I could ask him if he knows anything. PM me if you'd like me to do that for you.
