Talking about an engine without the piccies is like a day without sunshine

Have added some porn for you - not sure about the colour scheme though

I thought it only fair to add a bit:

No: 60/16815, SPEC: 27/3M 8408, HP: 27, RPM: 1000

1943, originally supplied to the MoD. Rebuilt by the MoD in 1953 and placed in storage as a 'spare'.

Pjs engines tend to stay clean as he sometimes keeps them under water

Don't you worry mate........

That Beta 43 will be a lot cleaner by the end of next week after it's submersion in the salty stuff :P

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - that engine room is way too clean ;)

Tony

It's not that clean and tidy now. That was a few years back now. ;)

Interesting... the 60/ prefix is supposedly for JP4 (38/4) as documented here which I assume is from original Lister document. Seems like they used 50/ & 60/ for JP3's though.

Arhh Richard points for paying attention...... :0p

The engine dating list you mention is from a lister original. But it must be an old typo on the original lister doc as if you read my notes under the table it notes that a JP3 might start 50/ or 60/. Most of the JP3's I have here start 60/ not 50/ as the table would lead people to believe.

The wonders of lister documentation lol

Oh are you still heading to Crick on saturday as I may be heading that way after lookig at new cars......
