I have a lock-up full of the stuff. Waiting to build my new Meccano-shed in the Spring ?

Block up all the holes in the roof with nuts and bolts.

My favourite bit of kit is usually whatever tool I have just bought.  There is something about a shiny new tool that is a delight.  I keep them under my pillow at night until the newness has worn off. Currently (sic) it is a Brother label maker advertised as good for Electricians.

Wey & Arun Junction canal company windlass as its much bigger than modern ones so neeeds less effort to turn paddle gear.

I retrieved it from the bottom of Malham lock when we were restoring it, and it is stamped W A.

Can you say how long the throw is?
