Isuzu 1.9

Hi, does anyone out there know what hp the Isuzu 1.9 engine is?

No buy a quick search (google) found there site and this PDF, http://www.hmiengines.co.uk/User/Documents...t%20leaflet.pdf unless they have changed there line up a 1.9 is not listed.

 

As a total guess though I expect it is similar to all 1.9's and will be in the region of 40 to 43 bhp.

I am sure my engine is 1900 cc. (Isuzu), is not turbo-charged and is 38 h.p.

The engine is about 7 years old.

My Isuzu engine is also about 7 years old and is a 4LC (from HMI plate on the cover) which means it is, I believe, 42hp 1732cc.

I think they use the 4LE version for the 55hp engine and this is 2179cc. A 1900cc version with a lower hp than the 1732cc engine seems incongruous.

model 4lb1. 1499 l. 33 hp

model 4lc1 1731 l 4l hp

model 41le1 2179 l. 54.3 hp

all non turbo figures.

there is a note stating that engine dimensions will vary according to the type

of equipment in which the engine is installed.
