Pretty good battery and average price. Other makes you could consider for the same price and Ah are Varta and Lucas.

I've been looking at them....I've been phoning around and telling suppliers that I need a few of them...and asking for their 'best price'....got it down to around seventy quid excluding delivery....

I have seen Trojan T-125s ( and T-105s - a bit smaller capacity) for approx double, but they are a hell of a lot more battery ..... and, consider this...

 

The Numax are rated for approx 200 50% cycles and then the capacity will be noticeably diminishing... The Trojans are rated for 1200 similar cycles and claim to be able to be discharged deeper without ill effect, although lighter depths of discharge can only be better for any battery.

 

Unless you are prone to severe abuse of your bank ( battery ) and are keeping them for 3 or more years, it may be prudent to Google for the cheapest Trojans ( or US Batteries equivalent) you can find. They tend to come in 6 Volt batteries at double the capacity ( e.g 6V 240 aH) and cost around £100, so 12 Volt 240 aH will be approx £200 which is similar cost per watt hour) to the Numax 110 aH but maybe last 3 times longer :lol: You may be able to get delivery included...

Not so sure about Lucas these days. They have the Lucas name but that's all - they are different batteries to what they were.
