That was my thinking as well .. Be nice to see what I can find out as its not on any boat index

Are you saying it has no index number at all or is it that you can not find any online reference to the index number that it does have :captain:

I think H&L built shells for Eggbridge Marina in the early 80's. We knew the owners there at Eggbridge, shame what happened there at the end.

H&L's legacy has indeed spread out and a number of builders came from that stable IIRC.

They are/were a very nice boat shell, much underated really, as are many of the larger boat builders. Springer, or old man Springer, it changed hands a few times, was another no nonsense builder, that would rather have kept building/engineering his tanks (should I say boilers), than boats, me thinks... A case of you get what you see, don't ask for more.. Go away..

Thinking along those lines.. Clubline and the WYSIWYG anyone remember those ?

Clubline is another builder that built a fair few.

Many of these builders got people onto the water in an affordable way. Much more to be said for that, than said for the.. well, what is perceived as high end builders, past and maybe present, that did/do fewer but are, for me, hugely overpriced with, lets say, not so honest shells. In some cases, not all, but a few. Just my opinion.
