I advertised a large masthead lamp in the "for sale" section, and posted a message when it sold. Not only will this stop any further enquiries, it also helps to demonstrate to others that it is worth using the "For Sale and wanted" thread.

Currently you can only edit you post relatively soon after it was origanaly posted.

 

The main reason for this is to prevent people from abusing there right to edit the post, for example changing the meaning after varous posts have related to it, making the whole thread stop making sence, etc.

 

I know that on another forum i use, they changed the forsale/wanted forums to be edited indeffonatly, and had to change it back after it was abused.

Have deleted the topic in for sale and wanted since it has been sold. There is a link to further suppliers of lamps which I will put in 'LINKS'

There is no way for us, as site crew to update this. I would be good if the original poster could add and additional post to say it has been sold.
