Aluminium 'J' section guttering

I'm in need of around 14metres of 'J' section aluminium moulding to create a rain gutter over the windows on 'Sir Edmund'

 

This stuff has so many different names and some 'J' sections are square or 'hockey stick' - Googling is unhelpful, ebay - too short lengths .

 

The only price I've seen is over £5/metre, which seems expensive. Is it? Can it be bettered?

 

Does anyone know of a source of this, preferably in the Midlands, because I'd like a 2m length for each window (yes, that's a

long window - it's an ex-SUC/Dartline Frobisher!) and I'm not sure if a carrier is capable of delivering 'unbent'

have you tried googling using aluminium and extrusion as search terms? 'fraid i can't help more than that.

also i wouldn't worry about it arriving bent. it would be seller's/carrier's responsibility to deliver undamaged if they expect to be paid. and order on your credit card - that way you can get refubded if it's damaged

caravan specialists sell rubber guttering that can be bought by the foot/yard/metre whatever.

Yes, this is an option along with horsebox builders. Don't know of any local, must search more

I have and one gets a multitude of confusing/useless entries, hence request above. Haven't got a credit card!

I know, but NOooo! ugh, shudders. I feel know this will look tacky and I will ultimately need to paint the gutter, and the paint simply won't stay on.

I,m sure AALCO have depots in all the major towns and they do most things aluminium..

Try steel stockholders most of them can get aluminium sections,box,tube,channel etc

there's quite a few in the west mids

That's the one - Aalco Halsowen, product no M107. It's on the opposite side of town, but hey, if they'll serve me, as an individual, that'll be great.
