I have to confess to being a regular holiday maker for many years on the Canals, not one that relies on them for a living. However it does concern me that the network may suffer if the government strips it of its property portfolio / assets.

Or will it ? I have signed the petition but speaking to some, and one well known operator,it seems sadly, not all are happy with BW.

While perhaps BW needs to be restructured, if we are not carefull the government could allow the canal network to deteriate ?
