A friend has asked me to see if anyone knows what make and model this stove is. Thanks in advance

Fairly certain it looks like some variant of a Coalbrookdale "Little Wenlock".

 

These come in various models it seems, some of which are significantly different, others of which are very like this. Could this be a "clone"?

Alan's right: it's a Little Wenlock. Looks very similar to the one we have, which is a Mk2. The current Little Wenlock looks very different.
