luctor et emergo Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 must be good if you are a night person in a driving job, no cars full of mothers and kids to avoid No, but plenty of wildlife. Badgers and Deer do a lot of damage if you hit one. And driving in the lanes and back roads brings other dangers, drunk drivers a plenty.

creamcheese Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Double agree, but I've just got back from a night shift, so not really an insomniac. Night night!
magpie patrick Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Last week I had a major report to shift, being a morning person rather than an evening one I was getting up between 3 and 4 am to get about four hours work in before breakfast. I noticed a definite lull in forum activity between about 4 and about 6...
Dyad Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Obviously sciving Dyad get some work done.. what should you be doin... No, (Well no more than usual ) usually I'm in a control room and I can browse when it's quiet. This week I'm out on site but I'm not leaving until 0100.

Ange Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Methinks I may be lurking around after midnight as well (missed this one last night cos I was busy catching up with stuff on the iplayer - oh the bliss of those magic three pinned sockets in a house and wifi which means I don't have to try to figure out how much of this strange internet currency I'm spending with my PAYG dongle!!!)

wrigglefingers Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 I have been following the day's developments with avid interest - I even managed to catch the thread started by "banned" before it was deleted!!! You've gotta be quick sometimes tho Wriggly reporting for duty - up since 5.45am, driving for five and half hours plus an evening checking out this forum and Ravelry and trying to fit a washing machine that has sprung a leak plus a nearly full day of boat sanding and painting. And I've spoken to my mother (easily the most draining thing I've done) cooked tea and emptied the cat litter tray - urgh! What's been going on - I'm confused (doesn't take much mind!)
