Group purchases

Other forums that I have used often organise "group purchases" for goods at a discount price.

 

Basically contact a supplier and ask them to give you a percentage discount if you can organise say 10 people to buy there item/product.

 

Would people be interested in this? And what sort of items would be required?

Good idea: But you may not get enough people -

 

Although there are a growing amount of people on this forum they won't all want the same item.

 

But for smaller things like maybe just clothing it might work:

Its a great idea, but we're not big enough yet. We would need 1000's of members I think, however with the rate of growth recently, its entirely possible I may be able to arange something within the next year??
