we have lived abord now for 5 years and love it.

it has ment many changes, we did a lot of reserch befor we took the plunge.

That was wonderful, thank you. For a more narrowboat-oriented and contemporary account, anyone who wishes to go to the Mainland should read Bill Davies.

We didn't do a lot of research before we started living aboard :lol:

 

We did make a horrible mistake and moved back into a house after we sold out first boat, now we are back aboard and much happier despite being back to the beginning on the renovation side of things :lol:

 

Loved the story, maybe our next boat will be internationally capable.

 

Something else that people might like to read is a recent book

Fabulous read. Reminds me of Uncle Beresford - but much more widely travelled!
