magpie patrick
And a refreshingly blunt Yorkshire reaction to the story! I particularly like this one of course it's their fault. Why don't the canal people heat the water, so that when people on disability scooters fall in they can have a therapeutic session. I'd sue.
luctor et emergo
Some people deserve all they get. Unfortunately they expect the rest of us to carry them along, footing the bill as we go. I'll leave it at that, before I get myself in trouble with the wringing hand brigade. A good, if unsuccessful attempt to enter the Darwin Awards...

I wonder if it's on cctv?
Athy
Splendid, I needed cheering up: last night we had a break-in at our property and today I have had to cancel a holiday because the airline has buggered about with the flight schedules. I do like the "She pressed the accelerator the wrong way" bit - how many ways are there apart from downwards and forwards. The problem obviously was that, it being a one-person scooter, her husband was not there to say "No dear, the other left". Oooh I feel much better now.
