wiltshire_boy
Idly dreaming about a slighter longer boat (more room for greyhounds) and came across this:- Lazy Jane. There's no mention of the maker but apart from looking a bit dated inside i'd have thought this was a bargain for an aluminium hull or are there issues inherent with not using steel? sociable_hermit
The BSS is due fairly soon - perhaps it has some features which would be non-compliant?

Roy All those steel boats surrounding it might be using it a sacrificial anode. £17k would seem about right.
Naughty Cal
Was there not an issue with "marine grade aluminium" turning powdery with age?

Tiny
Read somewhere that aluminium was prone to metal fatigue but the place where this tends to happen is in airliners.
Tim Doran
I think that the Rosie and Jim dolls might have something to do with the low price!
