Hull blacking

It's getting toward the time that the good ship Ocelot needs to go for a touch up.

 

Any recommendations on places to get her blacked around the Oxford area?

 

Either DIY (dependent on volunteers ) or Full Service (dependent on cost ). What's the current going rate per foot?

 

Oh... if craned out - 20 tonnes

Try Oxford Cruisers at Eynesham.

They haul boats out on a trolley up an inclined plane/slipway

There is a private slipway just north of Cropredy. By road travel through Cropredy and I think it's the second right, I may be wrong, you go down a little and then left onto an unmade lane. Right to the end and you'll see the slipway.

 

We went to have a look when we wanted ours done but coukldn't find anyone there. In the meantime we got a deal at Braunston whilst passing through.

 

Not sure of names,rates or DIY or service.
