steveandangi
A few days ago i have a leak on my flowjet water pump, ive taken it apart and cleaned all seals refitted and it worked well without leaking. Until 2 days ago when we ran very low on water and now the pumps start running every 3 mins for about a half a second. I have had this problem before and ran the cold water tap for around 15mins and was ok but this time no good. please help
Sir Nibble
Sounds as if there might be air in the system, or the pump is located so as to allow water to drain back from the pump. Perhaps a valve problem?
blackrose
Sounds as if there might be air in the system, or the pump is located so as to allow water to drain back from the pump. Perhaps a valve problem? Or leak where you refitted the seals perhaps - but then you'd expect to see some water... Have you checked for leaks elsewhere? Denis R
Sounds like you might have a feint weep across the valve seats, bleeding water from the pressurised side back to the inlet side. Maybe it's time for a service kit? Parts explosion here: Flojet 4405 Data Sheet
