Some bloke is swimming the length of the Manchester Ship Canal today and tomorrow in aid of a charity.. He said I would not have attempted it 10 years ago but the water is much less polluted now..

I'm not sure I could swim across the MSS these days, never mind along it!

Just seen the story on North West Tonight, all I can say is he's a mad mad sod for doing it!!!
