Anyone cruising past the top of the North Oxford this coming weekend is welcome to join us at our Wyken basin moorings for Saturday. The entrance to the moorings is about a mile south of Hawkesbury Junction at an acute agnle from the main line. The entrance is tight and despite what it looks like, you can wind at the end. The route in takes a 90 degree right turn under the motorway at what appears to be a dead end. Many of our members have 60ft boats and get in quite easily. And we have had 70 footers in the past. Attractions include bar and hot snacks as well as all the side stalls one might expect at such an event. We are a friendly bunch why not come and pay us a visit.

If anyone is interested, pm me with the boat length so I can get a mooring sorted.

Tony.
