Victoria Park East London - Narrow Boat "DUKE" Set Adrift

This is copied over from the other forum with the idea that the more people that see it, the better, in the hope that the owner reads this:

 

Vandals have just set adrift a narrow boat moored on the Hertford Union Canal (Ducketts Cut).

 

The boat is "Duke", is an older green narrow boat with a red tiller, moored under the willows alongside Victoria Park between Crooked bridge (where Old Ford Road crosses the canal) and the Gunmakers Lane entrance to the park.

 

The boat has drifted over to the old loading bay on the side of the canal opposite the towpath and is moving very slowly in the direction of Lee Navigation.

 

If anyone recognises this description and knows the owners could you please let them know?
