Just what I would expect of a socialist - no understanding of our great British class system. Who were we expected to look down upon if a few of the lower classes didn't attend Oxbrige? Noblesse Oblige

Your spelling is awful, your grammar pitiful and your logic skewed beyond any reason. Your anguished platitudes and the tone of your high-pitched chattering whine mark you out as some kind of 'cause-fighter'. Kindly take a more measured and rational approach if you wish to be taken seriously.

You really are bad at grammar. "Was" would still be incorrect, even if you had been referring to statements in the past. You're going to get a detention if you make a third mistake.

............and, for the avoidance of doubt, I believe everything about which I drivel on. (Note that, unlike you, I didn't end my sentence with a preposition). In fact, that's your third error - detention boy!!!!

Seriously, I am my biggest fan........ and it's a seriously small club.

Rubbish Chris. You simply don't understand the subjunctive.

Sorry, I thought I was steering it back on topic and, if anyone knows the charity, I'd a least bung them £20, if only for the entertainment the thread has provided.

What's most ironic is that it would appear to be a charity that is tackling young peoples' problems in a way not approved of by some contributors.

No need to apologise, Carl. I too thought this topic was very entertaining at times and some of the posts very erudite. But it does seem to have run out of steam and seeing one particularly pompous contributor making a fool of himself was amusing for a while, but is now possibly bordering on cruelty.

I wonder if anyone reading this did any vandalising when they were kids, I've been racking my brains, and have a vague memory of scratching things into school desks. I nearly burnt down a stable block playing with petrol, but fortunately mannaged to put the fire out before it caught anything, I'm sure If I'd ran, it would have been a diffrent scenario!
