That "LOCKS CLOSED" sign they hung out looks as though its seen a fair bit of action over the years!

See, this is why CaRT should do some preventative maintenance on their LOCKS CLOSED signs, or in future droughts, they won't be able to close the locks and will run out of water completely.

Because Campbell Robb will want to stano his authority by changing CRT's corporate colour (and logo)... ☹️

Green, I think.  Eco friendly, and also the colour of the canal when the algae blooms. Except in Stoke, obviously, when the signs will be orange.

And the signs saying "Life is better with water" will now include the word "out".

I've always thought the new branding was a bit close to the Yorkshire Water for comfort. Bloody lazy graphic designers :D

And the sinking tyre logo was inspired by the stain left by the graphic designer's coffee mug.

David Mack best you to it Ray - see the page before. It’s quite a long piece for the 10 o’clock news. What engine is that in the last boat up? Set the scene well!

Sounds pretty rough to me.

HR2 I reckon!

I was relieved that it didn't have a "greengrocer's apostrophe" in the word locks.

Dunno if Ladybower feeds any canals but its magnificent to see!

As it provides drinking water to Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester I suspect only indirectly via sewage works. It might even have hand in keeping the Shropie open as Google lists those towns plus West Midlands.
