I really don't like drinking tea or coffee from a transparent glass mug. Don't know why but it just doesn't feel right.

It is a bit odd. We have some matching clear mugs too (wanna see a pic?). Drinking coffee from them is just weird in comparison to the smokey ones.

Me too, i hate heavy thick cups and mugs. Our stuff is all those bone china smaller mug jobbies. I also hate pint glasses, much prefer halves.

I agree. A pint is too much Scotch for anyone, in my opinion.

Me too. Look at these lovelies from this year's Lincoln Beer Festival. Such a nice shape to drink from.

We have some quite thin white bone china pint mugs which are lovely to drink from, and hold enough tea... 🙂

Presumably wouldn't suit a half-pint man though... 😉

We have a couple of these Talisker tumblers.  I guess they are a novelty item rather than a serious aroma enhancing feature, but they are quite fun.

I always remember Registration day at College, not knowing anyone I ended up in the nearest cafe, a Wimpy, in Buchanan Street. I had enough cash to buy a cup of coffee,  in a glass cup and saucer.  Fortunately, things picked up a bit after that!

I have three of these in different colours.

I drink my coffee black. Since 1972 in Barcelona where I first experienced ‘proper’ coffee rather than the instant stuff I mostly settle for these days. No risk of explosions here!

Im sorry, but I dont recall ever drinking instant in the last twenty years.

Buy a Melitta filter cup and a pack of filter papers, then you get a fresh cup every time.

Lots of ground coffees available from Fiery to Sunday morning blend.

I see you have safety specs just in case, to protect your eyes from pottery shards. Remember though, useless unless worn. 😎
