I have plenty of experience with Clearview stoves, so I know how a decent stove should look and work.

I was seeking the authenticity with the Epping, wasn’t aware they were crap quality!

Thanks for the dampener advice, seems that is still intact, however seems a wise move to take it out. 
I’ll pop some photos up once I get it.

 

 

Weve had an epping in for a few decades. A few years ago we decided that we needed a new one as it got to a stage when it appeared to have more gaps thamn plate!

 

We then found a source for spares so decided to rebuild it, the following is a facebook link showing the rebuild:

That's much appreciated and a good reference to the internals, where did you get the spares from? Can you remember?
