Oh I dunno. I thought the welding was actually very good. (And WAY better than mine!) 

 

The structural design leaves a bit to be desired though. Also, I doubt they'll fit the Ham-Baker pseudo-hydraulic paddle gear you find on the GU, with the parallel square shafts.
