Had the engine in the wide been working, it could have gone under its own steam. Had it been knackered then that might have contributed to the alleged conspiracy. Only very alleged up thread, mind you.

That might have been a red herring. The loss adjuster reported that the widebeam was being towed by Blue Moon. And one of the (many) boats of that name shared a licence number with Que Sera Sera.

 

But Anonathy's report and pics show that the nearby boat, so more like to be the one involved in the tow, was actually Blue Moon II.

This one has just come up on Facebook, no crime number but I suspect its genuine

Looks to me as though someone has had the engine out of it.

Surely, if going out to steal a boat, you'd find a decent looking one - not a scrapper thats probably already been classed as 'dumped'.

If it has the type of engine you want to steal, you're not gonna be too bovvered about what the rest of the boat looks like.
