KELPIE - the end of a trip

That's us back in Park Farm ready to go home tomorrow. Sadly I never saw any cygnets although Brian saw them in Tixall wide a few days after we  were there.

It has been a super trip with some of the highlights being

Only rain we saw was overnight

Lots of sun

Lots of  wildlife to enjoy

Lovely fresh green trees

Lots of families enjoying the towpaths 

Lots of lovely boaters obviously enjoying their boating

Some super food both canal side and on board

Lovely to spend a few weeks boating with Iain and Meg

Here's to the next trip !

Just met a boat full of holiday makers from your part of the world complaining about how cold it was, I had just dumped my freece

They had obviously just left the tropical heat of Scotland for the chilly south 😄 we came home today and I  felt it a bit colder here ! 

They probably hadn't taken enough whisky with them

Try some Australian Whisky from the sunshine, it's actually very good.
