We have a T6 in a 110 year old ferry and its in need of some new parts and a backup engine. Does anyone know where I can get parts and does anyone have a running or not running T6 they will part with please?

There is a fully restored T4 on eBay. Not sure of the interchangeability of parts but might be a start

Plus that 8 cylinder that was offered here not long ago, but, like you, I am not sure about the interchangeability of parts or the parts needed.

As with all things Kelvin  talk to Seaward Engineering. They are in Glasgow.

British Polar bought and still support Kelvins  but whether they go as far back as the T I cannot say.

There used to be an old trawler at Blackwater Marina, Maylandsea, Essex. It definitely had a T series engine, I think a 6. We moored there at that time.  It was for sale some 8 or 10 years ago as a basket case.  I really do not know whether it ever found an owner, but I seem to remember the engine had been under water at some time, so perhaps a call to them might just establish if it still exists. certainly worth the phone call ! cheers.
