It looks like a burst water main is in danger of causing the main road bridge at Brewood over the Shroppie to possibly collapse.

Judging from these posts on Facebook it’s not going to be a quick fix. Let’s just hope it’s down to Severn Trent to repair and not CRT because it doesn’t look like a cheap or quick repair. I think the shroppie might be closed for quite a while sadly….I really hope I’m wrong!

Someone needs to tell that thick Reform Councillor that the Water company CEO probably earns £1.5-2m plus shares and bonuses for dumping sewage in the rivers.

I’m slightly more concerned that it’s going to take till Monday to get a structural engineer to look at it!
