David Floyd Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Hi I know we are all seasoned boaters here, but I enjoy the Robbie Cummings YouTube Channel, I know there is not much new content but I use them for reference. Well I decided I would map all the 'Pub of the Week' locations, this added a few Pubs to our maps and also updated a lot, but we also found about 5% had closed over the past 7 years, but there are 100 locations that are worth knowing about. Anyway the map for a 7 year pub crawl is here.. https://floydtilla.co.uk/robbie-cummings-pub-or-the-week-map-beta-version/
Mac of Cygnet Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Out of curiosity, I took a look to see how many I had visited on my years of "Pub Cruise" posts here in which I visited and scored several hundred pubs over most of the system. It was surprisingly few, considering both groups are mostly canal or riverside. Of course this was several years ago, and is well out of date. The link is to the last cruise, entirely in Yorkshire, but contains links to all the rest. 1
David Floyd Posted November 2 Author Report Posted November 2 Looks an amazing list, will check this against my database. D

GBG" Rather terse, I admit, but 16 out of 20 was well above the average for beer choice and quality and the rest. (The best pub I ever scored got 19/20, but like Glenn, my memory fails me as to where it was......)
Ronaldo47 Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 One of the volumes in the first series of Nicholsons canal guides was a real ale guide, produced in association with CAMRA. I picked up a copy for 10p in a remainder book shop in the 1980's. Interesting for its reproductions of vintage beer bottle labels. I don't think there was a subsequent edition.
