We have purchased a new shoreline fridge as a direct replacement for the old shoreline fridge. Like a dummy I removed it but didn’t take of the bracket underneath that stopped it from moving around when the door is opened or when moving. Is there such a thing to purchase for the new fridge, I have done a google search and can’t see anything straight away that comes up. Doesn’t even mention it in the manual.

Never needed a bracket in any of the ones we've had, even tall fridge/freezers. If the feet are adjusted it shouldn't move.

The feet are adjusted, and the fridge sits on a laminate floor so when you go to open the door it kinda pulls it a little bit it’s no biggy just me being a bit ocd I have to line it up afterwards when the door is closed again. 🤪

You might find a blob of Blu-Tak under each of the front feet stops it moving, once there is a bit of weight in the new fridge pressing down on them.

How about two circles cut from plastic fascia, so the front feet drop into the hole in the centre, screwed to the floor. or even just a length of it with two holes in it.

Yep that’s an idea aswell. Like the holders you used to get for sofas back in the eighties.  Thanks.

We've used some of this stuff in various cupboards to stop things sliding about, just search for Non Slip or Anti Slip Matting.

Two possibilities.

Could you use a piece of that non slip material you put under floor mats on laminate floors? I did this for my microwave on a work surface. For my fridge and washing machine I used a thin (6 mm or so) piece of ply with cutouts for the appliance back feet and fixed this to the floor. By doing it for the back feet only it wasn't visible. Must admit it took a few dry runs using double sided tape to position accurately. Once achieved I simply screwed it down.

See I was beaten by Hudds Lad and Tony Brooks, Ah well back to sleep

The reason I said to do the front is that with the door open, it normally is easy to lift the fridge feet out of the recess and pull it forward. To do tat for the back feet would require the fridge to be tipped forward at the top, and I suspect doing that and pulling it may be difficult.

Think I’m going to find some plastic cups and screw then into the flooring and place the feet inside them. Thanks all for the suggestions.

Out of interest, how long did the old fridge last?

It was on the boat when we purchased so can’t be certain on that am afraid. And it was removed working and given to another boater. We have fitted all new stuff out in our boat hence why it went and didn’t look right where it was.
