I have created a doppelgänger account by mistake.  It is this one. I have another account which is real, but this one has taken over my computer and wont let me log on as my real account.

I cant find any way to kill it. The option to delete account is so well hidden I cant find it.

Help!

I doubt deleting the acount at CWF will make any difference. Your PC won't know or care, it will probably just carry on auto-filling the sme data.

If that is it, then I think that finding how to access the passwords the browser has saved, deleting the CWF entry, and then logging in again entering the password for the older account may well fix it. You may find two CWF entries, so delete the unwanted one.

Otherwise, there is the nuclear option of finding the History option in settings and deleting all cookies, but that would mean you need to remember all the passwords so you can log into all the sites you used to log into automatically. Best print out the password list before doing that.

I think you're on the right track here, except on an Apple machine one can look through the cookies and delete them individually. In fact I think they are found in the browser settings menu system, not the computer.

I suggest finding the CWF older cookie and deleting it.

No! The newer one!

That's where they are on Firefox on Linux as well, but no idea about Microsoft or Android, which is why I did not give more details.

If using Edge on Windows its up to the top right corner and click the three little dots, scroll about halfway down the menu to Passwords, then scroll down the list until you see canalworld.net, click on it and you'll be shown all the passwords used at that domain (once you enter your security PIN etc.)

Much easier than the old days of digging through system/user folders on a cookie hunt :D

Hi there,

It's been a while since I requested deletion and this hasn't been done, do you mind picking this up?

Why not just walk away, close the door behind you and never come back.

Whats so important with removing/hiding everything you have posted ?

The man's a fool. I've got him on ignore and have no intention of reading any more of his nonsense, so no idea what crap he's come up with now. Obviously someone incompetent in his job, can't take criticism and unable to make relationships, so resorts to abuse to try to get a reaction. Without even the guts just to quit when he's behind. Pathetic.
