Am I the only person slightly concerned about this? Will canoeists and kayakers get priority over NB's? I know HCN West is closed at the moment, but there are longer term issues with water supply and canoeists don't use locks!

I dont see why they should. A few canoes once a month is a good way to raise some funds and gets those without narrowboats the opportunity to see the tunnel.

You can’t just rock up with your own craft, they are CRT-owned boats that you hire for the trip.
