Anyone know how boatmovers charge for there services? 

Hourly rate

Daily rate

Or just price the job from A to B if it takes for example 3 days or 5?

Lots of different ways of charging, there is no standard.

Your best bet is looking at canaplanac and working out how many boating hours the journey will take before you get quotes.

Then you will have an idea of who is taking the piss and who is straight. 

A decent boat mover will do 8 hour days at this time of year, and probably 10 plus in the longer months.
