Not all lock open days have public access into the lock. Have been to a few in London over the years that have though:

 

Camden (Hampstead Road) Lock 

 

 

Kentish Town Lock

 

 

Camden (Hampstead Road) Lock

 

St Pancras Lock

I've already asked CRT whether they are doing any and they have told me that they aren't.
