Staffs and Worcester Ebstree Lock 27

Closed as of Sunday 9th December due to downed cable in the lock. Lock has been sealed off with police tape.

what kind of cable?

I think it's an electrical cable from a local connection i.e. it fell from a brown pole not a major conduit.  There were 4 cables connected to the pole one of which fell into the lock. I'll inspect tomorrow or Wednesday.  I picked my boat up in Stourbridge in early November.  At this rate I'm not going to get to home port in Market Drayton until January.

Not if it was a telephone cable

The lock is open. I had problems at the next lock due to vegetation but cleared a lot out.
